GaitBetter Announces Successful Bridge Financing Round

GaitBetter, a digital motor-cognitive company, announced the successful completion of its bridge financing round.

The bridge financing round was led by by eHealth Ventures and included participation from Dreamit Ventures, KT Squared, MindUP, and AARP.  The funds raised will be used to accelerate the company’s commercial expansion in the U.S. and further develop its innovative gait rehabilitation and fall prevention platform.

GaitBetter’s VR-based solution, supported by eight clinical trials and 20 peer-reviewed publications, offers clinicians the ability to personalize therapy for patients by simulating real-life motor-cognitive challenges, resulting in improved outcomes and a 70% reduction in falls.

“We are delighted to receive the backing of prominent investors such as eHealth Ventures, Dreamit Ventures, KT Squared, MindUP, and AARP in this financing round,” stated Hilik Harari, CEO of GaitBetter. “This financing, along with the American Medical Association’s new CPT® code covering our intervention, positions the company favorably to quickly implement our advanced motor-cognitive system and help a larger patient population in the U.S.”

GaitBetter’s affordability and ease of use allows it to be installed in a wide variety of settings, including inpatient rehabilitation centers, outpatient physical therapy clinics, senior centers, gyms/fitness centers, and senior living communities.
